Quick Tapioca Pudding

Mix in pan: 3 Tbs. tapioca                                        1/8 tsp. salt
            1/3 cup sugar                                               1 egg, beaten
                                                                                2 ¾ cup milk
Let stand 5 min.  Then bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Stir in ¾ tsp. vanilla.  Stir once after 20 min.  Serve warm or chilled.
