Mikayla
3/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup of margarine
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1 bag of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the sugar, egg and margarine together (don't soften the margarine). Add everything else, except the chocolate chips, and mix together until smooth. The dough should not be sticky or too dry. If it's sticky add more flour, if it's dry I add a little bit of milk. Once the consistency is right, add the chocolate chips. I like to make big cookies, but you can always do the standard 1/2" ball of dough on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 min (untill light brown on top). ENJOY
Mikayla, I will try this one. Joe loves chocolate chip cookies too. Thanks for posting something. I need to post a bunch but haven't done it yet. Hope you are having a fun summer!

Question Mikayla, when you say don't soften the margarine, does that mean you take it directly from the fridge or do you have it at room temperature? Dumb question, but not so sure.
